NASHVILLE — Screamify’s Micro Horrors™ slate now has 69 episodes streaming across four titles. That count would reach 89 when Raven Mocker, the company’s 20-episode witch series, arrives later this year. No release date has been announced.

Micro Horrors™ are shot vertically and cut into short episodes for phones. Screamify has built a small library under that label in about four months, starting with Autonomous in June.

What’s on the slate

Autonomous, 16 episodes, directed by Kyle Valle, is a two-hander set inside a self-driving robotaxi. Erin Áine and Domenic Jungling play a couple whose ride home reroutes itself and then stops for a figure standing in the road.

Game Night: Survive the Slasher, at 32 episodes, is the longest. Trent Duncan wrote and directed it for Screamify. It’s a slasher built around a game night that goes wrong.

Scary Mary, 20 episodes, directed by Joshua Alden and starring Brandi Alden and Abby Burkholder, is about two would-be streamers who summon a demon for views.

In Sight is a one-episode release under a second label, Micro Found Footage™: a young woman followed by a stalker in Nashville.

The first episodes of Autonomous, Game Night and Scary Mary are free in the Screamify app on iOS and Android, so a viewer can try a series before committing to it.

Raven Mocker, from barn to release

Raven Mocker is the most ambitious production on the slate. It’s a period piece that runs on two timelines. Written by John White and directed by Gabe McCauley, the series is described in Screamify’s listing as a heart-eating witch out of Cherokee legend, a Civil War love story that never ended, and three teenagers in 1971 who walk straight into it.

The production shot in rural Tennessee. In September this outlet reported on its last days of shooting, in a barn with no power, and on what it takes to stage Civil War-era scenes in a vertical frame. The series was announced in July as “Ravenmocker” and is now styled Raven Mocker on its poster.

Screamify says only that the series arrives later this year. That would make Raven Mocker the fifth title on a slate that so far has grown one series at a time.
