NASHVILLE — There is a small, perfect irony in the opening frames of Screamify's newly released premiere recap: the cast of AUTONOMOUS, a series about a driverless car that will not release its passenger, stepping out of a driverless car that did. Kyle Valle, Erin Áine, and Domenic Jungling arrive by Waymo; the machine, this time, cooperates.

The ninety-second film moves through the July 11 launch at Sidecar Bar — the carpet, the step-and-repeat, brief interviews with Áine, Game Night: Survive the Slasher creator Trent Duncan and his cast — and captures what 80 people in a room sound like when a format bet starts feeling like a sure thing.
